What we collect
What you type. Company or school details (name, city, county, ZIP, size, what you make), who you are (name, role, email, optional phone), your skill ratings, and your written comments. None of the questions beyond the basic identity fields are required.
Technical details. Each submission records the time it was made, the time the page was opened, the form version, and the network (IP) address it came from. The IP address is used to prevent abuse, to spot test submissions, and to count overall site visits from standard server logs; it is never published or used to identify you. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
How it is used
Your ratings are combined with other employers’ and instructors’ ratings to build regional skills findings for schools, colleges and workforce partners. Anything published is combined across at least five companies; where fewer than five answered, we publish nothing rather than round. No school, trade association, agency or other company sees your individual responses.
Methods research is separate and opt-in. Each form ends with an optional question asking whether your de-identified responses may also be used in research on the assessment method itself. If you skip it or answer no, your responses are used for the regional assessment only. Saying no changes nothing about your participation.
Where it lives and how long
Submissions are stored on a server in the United States and backed up daily; rolling backups are kept for ninety days, and the working data is retained for as long as the assessment program runs. Raw responses are seen by a small team at WBTO and nobody else.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, withdraw a submission, or change your research-consent answer at any time: email chris@wbto.partners from the address you used on the form. Unchecking the findings box on registration simply means we do not email you the results.
